MTB trail . Usually over a weekend .
Day 1 -Glen
Eagles to Crieff,
Day 2 -Crieff
to Comrie.
We meet in Auchterarder and
get transported to the start point and at the end of day 2 we get bussed
back to Auchterarder. Your bags shall be transported
with you. Each day is approximately 5 hrs long starting at 10am
till 3pm.

What a great way to do something just a bit
different.
Up to 8 youths plus a couple of adults. We
check all the bikes out and make sure everyone is in the best riding
position and then we create an short skills course which we can be made into
a competition (see saw - limbo on a bike). We then all shoot off for
hour long cycle stopping on the way for a snack and drinks. On our
return we play a few bikes games .

The Trails
Spend up to five
days in Strathearn taking in different routes and terrain. There
are routes for all abilities and if its downhill or easy going terrain
you want we can provide.
No Need for a Compass or Map - Local Knowledge - Instruction and
Advice at Hand - More time to enjoy the scenery
Put
away your maps, relax, enjoy your riding and take in the views. All
the trails are an accumulation of local knowledge and offer
constantly changing bike terrain and views. Most trails are point to
point which provide a feeling of discovery and journeying.
The
Trans Strathearn Adventure Trail
Description
A truly unique bike
experience starting at the head of Glen Eagles for a down hill start. You will swoop down the
rugged glen into the Strath courtesy an old Drovers road, then passing the famous Glen Eagles Hotel.
A quick change of scenery takes you across a stunning heather moor. The
mid section follows parts of the old railway system taking you through
forest and farmland. The last section is a single track
and follows the course of the river earn to Crieff.
At the meeting point you plus bike are transported to the start point
at Glen Eagles.
Fitness -
Although there is more down than up.
the terrain can be challenging due to boggy ground and some very uneven
single/no track..
Distance - 25km
Duration - Approx 3hrs-dependant on fitness, weather and ground
conditions.

Turret West
Adventure Cycle
Description
This adventure starts at the Turret Dam
(Height 361 m) just outside Crieff. From here you take a good
track west through some very rugged hills, slowly descending into Glen
Lednock before climbing again and eventually descending into Comrie and
returning via some tight single track to Crieff.
At the meeting point you are
transported to the start point at Loch Turret.
Fitness -
Although there is more down than up.
the terrain can be challenging due to boggy ground and some very uneven
single/no track.
Distance
25-38km (can reduced inlength)
Duration - Approx 4-5hrs-dependant on fitness, weather and ground
conditions.

The
Turret East
Adventure Cycle
Description
Again this adventure starts at the Turret
Dam (Height 361 m) just outside Crieff. The route starts of East
on an old high level estate road providing great scenery from the
amazing panoramas of Tayside contrasting markedly with the rugged
mountains on the other side. Eventually after you come to a very
fast downhill section all the way to Sma Glen whereby we pick our way
back through forest tracks to Crieff and depending on fitness there is
the potential to continue.

transported to the start point at Loch Turret.

Crieff
Description
A brilliant ride with a touch of
everything. Starting at height we wind our way through the Crieff
Hydro Estate down to Lady Marys Walk. This is a cycle for
most abilities with at least one tough little hill (try and get up
without getting off). Advice and instruction on technique and bike
maintenance is offered on request.

Comrie
Starting at the mouth of Glen Lednock we
take short climb to start a dramatic downward traverse of the hillside.
On this run we weave our way back to Comrie and leave again on an
engaging stretch of single track. The trail leaves Comrie a then returns
via a river bank path. Never a dull moment on this run as you go
from Mountain to Glen.
